It's the start of a three game Interior road swing tonight as the Bulldogs (9-11-1-1, 5th Island) face the Silverbacks (15-5-2-1, 2nd Interior) at the Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm.
In the bigger picture, its also the beginning of a crazy stretch of nine straight games away from home for the Dogs, who won't play on Home Ice again until December 11th.
The Bulldogs certainly can't be looking at the big picture though, as it's quite daunting. They shouldn't even be looking beyond tonight and need to instead just focus on the Silverbacks, as they will no doubt be quite the test.
The Bulldogs were last in action Sunday afternoon at home where they saw a 3-0 lead evaporate in dropping a 6-4 decision to the Langley Rivermen, The Silverbacks were last in action Saturday night at home where they won their second in a row 5-3 over West Kelowna.
This is the second meeting of the season between the teams, as the Silverbacks picked up a 3-0 win over the Dogs at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack on September 25th in a 10am start.
